II.- ORIGINAL VARIANTS.

Original Variant Nº1
This variant differs from the other in the bottom part of the crossbow. As shown by the arrows, it is straight.

Original Variant Nº2
In this other variant, the bottom part (indicated by the arrows) is curved.

Original Variant Nº3
This crossbow appeared only in the "Early Bird" pack, which contained the first Star Wars figures ever available. It is known as the Green Crossbow because it is made of a greenish blue plastic. In this image, the green crossbow (top) is compared with the normal one.

III.- REPROS.

Repro N.1
This repro is easily detectable because it is painted over. In the original one the colour of the weapon is the colour of the plastic it is made of. Also you can feel that the plastic is less flexible.
