En dicho proyecto se ofrece la posibilidad de sumarse a una petición formal dirigida a G.Lucas para que cambie de título. Para ello ha creado un sistema automático que con solo introducir tu nombre y dirección de correo (la localidad y el país son opcionales) remite en tu nombre el siguiente texto (presentamos el original y la traducción) :

For years you have made films and created technology for those films that have inspired countless people to fulfill their dreams in movie making and more importantly touched the hearts and brought joy to millions of moviegoers around the world.

Your fans number in the millions and reside all throughout the world with the series of films your created in the Star Wars saga.

But, we are here to address the recent title given to what will be one of the greatest chapters of the Star Wars saga...Episode 2.

Star Wars "Attack of the Clones" is a title that is already causing a massive outcry from the fan community. The films have always had titles that reach out and grab you and have a important meaning to the film like the following.

Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace
Episode 4 - A New Hope
Episode 5 - The Empire Strikes Back
Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi

However the title of "Attack of the Clones" brings to mind for some of us cheesy sci-fi movies like "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman" or "Attack of the Killer Tomato's". We understand that Episode 2 deals with the beginning of the clone wars but this title doesn't give Episode 2 the prestige that the titles for the previous films did for those chapters. We admit that the "The Phantom Menace" was a title that was confusing and not accepted in some circles at first but it did not have the negative response that "Attack of the Clones" has garnered this fast only a short time after it's announcement on the official site.

We the Undersigned, send this as a request to you Mr. Lucas to please rethink your title for the 2nd chapter of the Star Wars saga. We know this film will live up to the hype and potential of Star Wars we just want it's title to do the same.

Durante años ha realizado películas y creado tecnología para ellas que han inspirado a una incontable cantidad de gente para cumplir sus sueños en la realización de cine, y lo que es más importante, han tocado los corazones y llevado goce a millones de aficionados al cine de todo el mundo.

Los fans de la serie de películas que usted ha creado dentro de la saga STAR WARS, se cuentan por millones y residen en todo el mundo.

Pero, ahora estamos aquí para hablar sobre el título recientemente dado al que será uno de los más grandes capítulos de la saga de STAR WARS... Episodio 2.

STAR WARS "El Ataque de los Clones" es un título que ya está causando una masiva protesta dentro de la comunidad de aficionados. Las películas siempre han tenido títulos que te llegaban, te sobrecogían y daban un importante sentido a la película, como los siguientes:

Episodio 1 - La Amenaza Fantasma
Episodio 4 - Una Nueva Esperanza
Episodio 5 - El Imperio Contraataca
Episodio 6 - El Retorno Del Jedi
muchos de nosotros películas cutres de Ciencia-Ficción como "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman" o "El Ataque de los Tomates Asesinos". Nosotros entendemos que el Episodio 2 coincide con el inicio de las Guerras Clon, pero este título no le da al Episodio 2 el prestigio que los títulos de los filmes anteriores les daban a esos capítulos. Admitimos que "La Amenaza Fantasma" era un título que confundía y que no fue aceptado en algunos círculos al principio, pero no produjo la respuesta negativa que "El Ataque de los Clones" ha creado en tan poco tiempo después del anuncio oficial en el sitio oficial.

Nosotros, los abajo firmantes, enviamos esto como requerimiento a usted, Sr. Lucas, para pedirle que reconsidere su decisión sobre el título para el segundo capítulo de la saga STAR WARS. Sabemos que esta película cumplirá con la excitación y el potencial de STAR WARS y solamente queremos que el título también lo haga.
